SEVEN

I took some time, to explore the ways, to understand wood. How can I transform it, and why ? I had to find a meaning.

I needed more silence, more space, to create, to think, to exist. There is often too much noise, sometimes I can’t hear myself think.

I’m searching for inner peace. I don’t want to make loudly objects. I want to create some kindness, like a soft skin, like a cloud. That is why I curve the edges, the object become peaceful, it reflects time, patience, and silence.
I feel like inner peace. First when I sculpt the object, and then in the final shape of the wood.

It is difficult to find the balance, the good line, and the meaning of each object. It is difficult to curve wood, but at the end I feel impressed. I also feel that this kind of work is appreciated by the others.

We need to be impressed.

I need to take time, I have to do my best,
to reveal the inner beauty of the wood.
